We used our proprietary AFT and PST to minimize blade movement, resulting in an incredibly smooth and rhythmic paddling experience. The moderate 10° blade angle creates a more forgiving catch, further enhancing the feel and comfort of the paddle stroke. This combination of innovative blade design and higher blade angle allows paddlers to find their flow and hone their technique. 

Built in pre-preg carbon construction, the Hydro TempoX is lightweight, durable, and responsive for a performance-orientated paddling experience.

POWER SCOOP
TECHNOLOGY (PST)

The Hydro TempoX features a single moderate scoop design with dihedral shaped edges. This design increases stroke power and delivers forward thrust in a smooth and controlled manner. PST is designed to work in harmony with Advanced Flow Technology (AFT).

ADVANCED FLOW TECHNOLOGY (AFT)

The proprietary Advanced Flow Technology (AFT) is designed to significantly increase paddle efficiency. By reducing fluid turbulence around the blade, unwanted lateral blade movements are eliminated. This increased efficiency leads to a smoother paddle stroke, reduced fatigue, and faster speeds. AFT is designed to work in harmony with our Power Scoop Technology (PST).

 

DESIGNED FOR FITNESS, TOURING & RECREATIONAL RACING

The Hydro TempoX paddle combines its racing pedigree with features which make SUP racing and touring easier and more relaxing over long distances. The concept of easy speed enables you to race, train and paddle hard day after day, without the worry of injury or excessive fatigue. SPECIFICATIONS AND SIZING

We don’t think you need to be an expert paddler to enjoy the benefits of a custom paddle. In fact, it’s why we offer the Hydro TempoX in four blade options and both 26 (slim) and 29mm (regular/standard) to best suit your specific paddling needs. For adjustable paddles the 30cm (12″) range is tuned to match the blade size. Choosing the right paddle might seem daunting at first, but don’t worry, we made it easy to identify which is the best option for your optimal paddling experience.
