This board is the brainchild of "Creek" aka Rick Weeks. After the amazing feedback and consistent testing of our Ghost model over recent years, Rick found himself wanting a board that can handle a bit more power in critical sections. A board that is still very comfortable but covers a wider range with ease, with an emphasis on performance when it's a little bigger. Enter the Ghost Up!
A narrower plan shape with clean curves through the mid section into a hip that still echoes that Ghost flavor. Paired with a setback fin placement and a performance rocker with extra tail kick, this board is super quick and agile. It will have you taking drops, making sections and jamming under the lip with ease. Reach the final frontier, and go to places you never thought possible.

SPEED: Very good for a board in this category.
DIRECTIONAL CONTROL: Medium to low yaw, depending on size.
OVER WHITE WATER: The Pixie “Flip” Nose helps the board climb up the whitewater, and its ample surface area assists it over.
WAVE CATCHING ABILITY: Very Good.
WHAT YOU THOUGHT OF WHEN YOU DESIGNED IT?:
As a lifelong surfer, I wanted to actually surf BETTER at 77 in even bigger waves. I wasn’t ready for the scrap heap just yet. I needed a very different board to accomplish that, and with all the time on the Ghost, it was clear that a few areas could be tweaked to improve this.
WHAT IT POSSIBLY COMPROMISES ON THEN?:
Not designed for very small low power waves, although it will still work great if you have small waves with a little bit of punch.
