West Coast Paddle Sports Moving to New Location in Point Loma
After a wonderful 13 years at our Morena location, we will be moving our retail store to Point Loma/Shelter Island. Just in time for the summer season and Memorial Day Kick-off.
"We loved the store location and our neighbors in Bay Ho, but are very excited to be closer to the water, and get to know the Shelter Island/Point Loma community" says Jeton Prince, owner of West Coast Paddle Sports.
The San Diego-based SUP, outrigger and water recreation shop will be moving into the location previously occupied for 80+ years by the PL Pharmacy, and next door to delicious and family friendly Harbor Town Pub. The move will allow the retail store to be closer to its rental location (San Diego SUP Rentals | West Coast Paddle Board Rentals) in Liberty Station, as well as be closer to several paddle launch spots to get to the water before and after visiting the new retail shop.
"In addition to still being close to Mission Bay, we are now walking distance to San Diego Bay and several great waterways to explore there," Jeton enthusiastically shared. "We are also excited to be closer to our SUP/Kayak rental operations and paddle lessons, so customers can easily visit both."
The move will be taking place in May 2024 with soft launch happening around Memorial Day. "We can't wait for everyone to see the new shop. We will still have the repair workshop and our great selection of paddles, paddleboards, apparel, accessories and everything the community has come to expect from us." Jeton added, "The community has been what makes paddling great. We hope to continue to support that energy and camaraderie on the water and off.
