We feel fortunate to partner with INT in Carlsbad, CA who make awesome Performance Soft Top Boards to offer a co-branded soft top surfboard the “FishPlanx-FishStix”. These are not only a blast to ride, but we asked for our boards to be built with Future Fin Boxes (fins not included) so you can add your own choice of fins from your local surf shop that meet your surfing ability and needs. Stainless steel screws (not plastic) are used to secure the fin boxes in the boards and they build their boards with the same pride and quality as we do. They come in a progressive Swallow Fish shape, Classic Fish and also traditional performance long board shapes. These boards are not just for riders just starting out but advanced surfers will love them too. They definitely will help increase your wave count and they make great durable travel boards when packed properly against the airlines “Gorilla Handlers”. The best thing is these are made from recycled foam which lightens the footprint on the earth and are custom made as well in Carlsbad, CA. You pick your color and we get them shaped just for you. Plus if your feeling creative, use your art skills and draw up your own design on the bottom using some “Posca Pens” or “BoardStix” Pens which are water based non toxic paint pens. Then use a acrylic clear sealer over it and now you have something truly custom to show off when in and out of the water. Lead time is about 6 to8 weeks from order being placed to ship due to COVID-19. Our crew has surfed them in two foot wind swell to six foot Costa Rican beach and reef break and we had a blast!
Hybrids get an epoxy resin bottom that is glassed like a regular hard surfboard, which is then wrapped the same way as our white slick bottom boards giving you all the performance of a hard board, while not sacrificing the fun of a softboard.
